EXPRESS ENTRY

Express Entry is a Canada Immigration digital platform used to manage prospective foreign nation who are candidates possessing skilled work experience seeking to relocate to Canada permanently. This digital platform oversees three main federal immigration programs by ranking prospective candidates by using certain criteria within the Express Entry pool:

  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
  • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSW)
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FST)

Eligibility and Requirements for the CEC:

  • A minimum of 1-year continuous paid authorized Canadian work experience outlined in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) in TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3. Refugee claimants, Self-employment and work experience gain as a full-time student does NOT count towards eligibility.
  • Adequate language proficiency in English or French with CLB 5 of higher.
  • No specific educational requirements but obtain Canadian education credential can enhance your ranking in the Express Entry pool.
  • The candidate must intend to live outside of Quebec.

Eligibility and Requirements for the FSW:

  • A minimum of 1-year continuous relevant foreign work experience outlined in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) in TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 in the last 10 years.
  • Adequate language proficiency in English or French with CLB 7 of higher.
  • A minimum high school education equivalent to Canadian credential. Having higher credential can enhance your ranking in the Express Entry pool.
  • Scored a minimum of 67 points out of 100, which is assessed based on 6 factors, such as Age, Education, Work Experience, Valid Job Offer, Language skills, and Adaptability.
  • My have sufficient funds to support yourself and family, unless you have a qualifying valid job offer from a Canadian employer; or legally working in Canada.

Eligibility and Requirements for the FST:

  • A minimum of 2-year continuous relevant foreign work experience outlined in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) within the last 5 years.
  • A qualifying valid job offers from a Canadian employer, or a Provincial certificate of qualification with your trade.
  • Adequate language proficiency in English or French with CLB 5 of higher.
  • No specific educational requirements but education credential can enhance your ranking in the Express Entry pool.
